DESCRIPTION:The Gray Scott School organises an advanced training program a
 bout High-Performance Computing (HPC). The school covers optimisation of c
 omputation on different hardware (CPU and GPU)\, presenting their respecti
 ve characteristics\, architectures and bottlenecks. This program lasts fro
 m January to June\, with an intensive two-weeks training summer school\nTh
 e Summer school covers many topics: generic optimisation methods\; vario
 us libraries\, technologies and languages available\; architecture and li
 nk to performance of the machines and much more …\nThrough hands-on ses
 sions\, lectures\, and regular technical webinars\, the school equips part
 icipants with the skills needed to design\, optimize\, and scale high-perf
 ormance applications.\nThis site will be held in Leuven and focus on cpu-r
