We are organizing an interdisciplinary symposium entitled Lifelines: Language, memory and the life course on the afternoon of Thursday 11 December, featuring six invited speakers. The list of speakers is as follows:

- Patrick McGuinness (St Anne's College, Oxford), ‘Mêmebruxelles: Language, memory and identity’
- Peter Petré (University of Antwerp), ‘Is it only language that changes or do language users also change? … and so what if they do?’
- Emma-Louise Silva (University of Namur), ‘Neuroliterary time travel: It’s in the interdisciplinary details’
- Markus Werkle-Bergner (Max Planck Institute for Human Development), ‘The development of memory across childhood’
